12 months and a half

The birthday party...together with everyone!!

1st Birthday party!! Part 1.Getting ready for the party!




So, we had to postpone the party for a couple of weeks while the twins recovered from being sick, but we still had a heck of a party, with everyone close to us. Oliver looked dashing in his suit, bought by his grandparents, and Alegra was just as cute with her long skirt on.



Aaran made the cakes and despite my initial reluctance, they were yummy and looked exactly like two teddy bears.


We included a bit of a romanian tradition, which means that they had to pick things from a tray with different items, which according to the tradition would mean that they might have something to do with that in the future. My lovely girl picked the book and some makeup and Oliver picked the cork, the money and a book....hmm, is he going to be like his dad and grandad- probably so!!


We had so much fun and it was so good to see all the kids play together and have so much fun! We cannot wait to do it next year again!

more photos of our lovelies at 1 year old!!

So, Alegra decided that she doesn't like to be in the exersaucer anymore, but she loves to sit under it!! She also figured out that she can get under the coffee table and have access to the curtains..she is a clever girl.


Oliver is just chilling and loves playing with his trucks!! He follows his sister everywhere!


We took a very special photo of him and his great granddad the other day!!!


And there was the wipes incident the other day...I thought they were strangely quiet..then I went to check and found out why!!!

One year old!

Wow, the twins are one year old and we have taken heaps of photos of them, we can't really get enough..they have grown heaps.




What do they do now? Well they love playing together, crawling fast and following one another in the hallway, smiling and laughing at eachother. They favourite is daddy, who gets all the attention when he comes home from work, but Oliver also loves his grandad- his big beard and glasses, while Alegra is besotted with grandma, all her jewelry and pink clothes.




Alegra also stands up and walks around the furniture now, and she has no fear, she will fall, get hurt and start over again. Oliver is standing up but is more reserved and not as adventurous as of yet. He's got 12 teeth and loves to smile and show them off.




They have been very sick a few weeks ago- hospital, the works but now seemed to have bounced back and they are as lively as ever.
