The twins love eating

We promise that we feed them well, though looking at Alegra's eating habits you woudn't think so. Or it may be that Grandma's food that she made for Alegra and Oliver tastes better????

A beautiful day at the beach

We took Alegra and Oliver at Takapuna beach, and they really enjoy it.

Daddy catches Oliver just before he went into the cold water.

Alegra worships the Earth, or is drinking salty water?

Oliver looks bemused at Alegra, always follows her.

The park is so nice and they can run around or play on the slide, Alegra's favorite thing.

Our beauties are 18 months old

So, we finally took the courage to leave the twins with Uncle Radu and Stacey, while we went to a wedding, and they had a blast! Managed to wear Radu out, though and put him off having kids for a while.

Also, Alegra is now the leader in walking, so she tells Oliver to follow her everywhere, which he does dutifully.

Alegra and Oliver share a cuddly moment together...

Going to kindy Part two

First Day at kindy

Today was a really special day, Alegra and Oliver had their first day at kindy, where they will go twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays for 3 hours.

We were so excited and nervous about how they would cope with such a new environment, so I took the camera along and captured their first day.

Well, they had a blast. Alegra left mummy the moment we arrived, she went straight for the playdough and proceeded to eat it, as she does with everything...and funny enough, she seemed to love it.

Oliver, was just as keen to play with his new friends, so the three hours went by very quickly.

They loved all the new toys, being outside, making new friends and their new teachers. I did stay with them the whole time, but I felt a bit redundant, as they did not pay much attention to me, only checking to see if I was there at the end.

Alegra thinks that eating chalk is fun, especially blue one.

Oliver is mad about wheels and today it was no different.

Oliver has a new friend, who follows him everywhere.

Alegra thinks she is a bit of a catch so she kisses herself.

Alegra is happy on the swing.

Back at home at 16 months

Back home we decided to cut the twins' hair...and we did it. Aaran and I both cried when Oliver's curly locks were cut but he is now a big boy and he is so much happier when we wash his hair.

Alegra loves to show off her new sunglasses from her aunt Marie.

Our adventure in Tasmania Part 3

Just some more photos to show how much fun we had in Tassie.

Our Tasmanian adventure Part 2

Alegra and Oliver had a ball at the beach, the weather was perfect and they loved the water and eating sand.

We took them to the zoo and they werent' scared at all. Alegra loved patting the animals and Oliver even got to touch the camels.

Tasmanian Christmas Part 1

We had the most amazing holiday in Tasmania, Christmas Day with the whole family was so much fun, and again the Alegra and Oliver were spoiled with presents and attention from everyone.

Alegra's first lolipop was a hit!!

Christmas 2007

Our twins have celebrated their second Christmas at home with family-grandparents, Radu and Stacey and the godparents. They had a great time opening presents, and they have been really spoiled.

Oliver loves mum's computer and wants to play games on it...hmmmm.

The men of the family showing off their presents.

Alegra and Oliver were keener to play with the wrapping papers than with the presents.
