Alegra and Oliver's first bath

YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Alegra and Oliver love their bath, sounds like they might have gotten this from their mother!
It's obvious by the look of delight on their faces that they are definately water babies!

Yes as you can see Alegra really is going to be an Olympic Swimmer!

However I fear Oliver, may be best suited to Surfing as he may fall asleep whilst, in the drink!
YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Alegra, Oliver and their grandparents and greatgrandparents!!

Everybody in the family loves Alegra and Oliver, and cannot get enough of holding them.

Great grandad and great grandma love their little great granddaughter and great grandson, who seem to love being in their arms.

Four generations in the same photos: Greatgrandma, grandma, mum and Twinnies.

Grandad and grandma like to spend all their sparetime with the twinnies...who can complain?

Uncle Radu loves holding Alegra and Oliver, he looks huge next to them!!

Alegra and Oliver at home at 4 weeks!!!

After 3 days at home, we got a little bit more confident and were ready to take our precious babies to their first outing to the park!!!

Alegra, Oliver and Mummy are ready to go for their first outing in their red chariot.

Oliver is all tired even though he hasn't done much yet...

Alegra is so cute in pink!!

After their walk in the park, Alegra and Oliver are were very tired, so they had a long sleep, while daddy gets on with folding the clothes ( one off task, he doesn't usually do it)

Introducing Oliver & Alegra

Welcome to my blog... It's all about Us! - Oliver & Alegra of course!!

Well it has sure been a hectic year, for the Casey Clan. We have been through a lot and come out with two wonderful and amazing intelligent bundles of joy! (ok, so I might be a bit biased)

So without further adew, I introduce Oliver and Alegra...

This is Oliver born on the 31st of August 2006 at 4:43pm

This is Alegra born 31st of August 2006 at 4:44pm

After they born, they were rushed off to SCBU at North Shore Hopital to be checked out, as they were only born at an amazing 34 weeks! Both angels were weighed, Oliver - 1750 grams, and Alegra - 2010 grams. Then they were rushed off into their individual little incubators to grow!

Alegra

They attachd all the little monitors to ensure that they could keep track of what she was doing, it was a little scary at first, well what with being a new dad, and then being rushed down to SCBU (Special Care Baby Unit - I knew you were wondering), and then watching your little babies (of which I had already formed an everlasting bond with) be put into little plastic incubator and have all these wires attached to them (it really does break your heart). Meanwhile, whilst Dad was taking pictures and what seems like endless amount of dumb questions, Mum had only had a glimpse of her little angels, before she too was whisked off and into recovery.

SCBU is an amazing part of the hospital, that you never realise exists unless you have babies that need to stay there. The nurses are top Notch and teach you lots, about how to look after your precious little angels... I would like to say thanks to two of the nurses, that really helped out Mum and Dad, but also I think had a special place in their hearts for Oliver and Alegra, so thank you Deborah and Catherine, you were a tremendous help, and whenever my twins were in either of your care I knew that they were really safe and loved.

Ok enough about that (I know what you're all saying, but they are my twinnies, and this is my blog, so...)

it's amazing at how alert he is...

Ok let's see some more pictures of our Lil' Miss Alegra

Alegra has a little sleep in her grandad's arms, and she seems pretty happy bout it!!
